Is the lamp lit continously or is it flashing?

Lit continously: Top up the engine oil as soon as possible (refer to the owners manual for instructions or contact an authorised repairer)

Flashing: The sensor for checking the oil level may be faulty. Check the oil level and top up if necessary (refer to the owners manual for instructions or contact an authorised repairer).
